A forum to discuss “Mongolian Chinese Studies and the translation of Mongolian and Chinese classic works” was held in Beijing, organized by the Beijing School of Language and Culture. Prominent Mongolian translators, China scholars, writers, and publishers attended the event to represent Mongolia. 

 

Various plans were discussed at the forum, including one to translate and publish great Mongolian works for the vast readership of China. The two countries resolved to work together to translate the works of the other.
