LETTERS FROM STEPPE TAKES THE STAGE ONCE AGAIN

It has just been announced that artists Fanny Bastien, Anne-Sylvie Meyza and Rodrigo Ramis, will be performing their production based on G.Mend-Ooyo’s collection of eight essays titled "Letters from the Steppe" at the LAVOIR MODERNE PARISIEN in Paris from February 5th to the 9th.

These Letters from the Steppes embody the committed words of the Mongolian writer Mend-Ooyo Gombojav. They transport us to the heart of the Land of the Big Blue Sky where one of the last nomadic peoples of the planet has always had an intimate and spiritual link with its ancestral land. A call to become aware of the beauty of the world, more than ever threatened by the greed of Men.

A man and two women take turns opening eight letters from the distant steppes of Mongolia. Instrumental rhythms and melodies mingle with electronic sounds to accompany this accomplice trio which immerses us in a surprising space-time where the spirit of a land populated by entities from the depths of the ages hovers. More topical than ever, resolutely contemporary and endowed with a universal dimension, these letters written in honor of our Mother Earth can only resonate in the depths of each of us. They invite us to rediscover a harmonious relationship with the world around us and on which our own survival depends.

"Let us repeat again and again this magic incantation: I love you Mother Earth! "
