The people of Dariganga, in the south-east of Mongolia, have for many centuries, produced examples of their own particular cultural history. The "Ganga Nuuryn Chuulgan," which will travel through Dariganga studying the cultural history, the ecology and the natural sciences of the region, will reveal the lifestyle of the people, and their interactions with culture and the environment.

During the middle month of every autumn, the Ganga NuurChuulgantake place the region around Ganga Nuur(Ganga lake) and focuses its collaborative work on Dariganga, an area which is regarded as one of the most significant parts of Mongolian tourism.

In this year the Ganga Nuur session will be held from 21 to 23 September in Dariganga sum, Sukhbaatar province.

Beginning with a tea offering to the sun as it rises in the morning over the open steppe, our creative work honors the religious culture, which propitiates Ganga Nuur and welcomes the swans back, protects the ecosystem around Ganga Nuur, and reforests the area.

This event has been organized by the poet G.Mend-Ooyo, a native of Dariganga and President of the Mongolian Academy of Poetry and Culture, and Sh.Nergui, the CEO of New Juulchin Tours, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism, and the local government in Suhbaatar province.
